Brilliant is a word we like at the University of Illinois at Springfield. It describes the teachers and researchers who have made Illinois what it is today. It describes the opportunity our students find here, the chance to shine and reach their potential. Brilliant Futures are created when the supporters who share our vision come together with the inspiring professors, the bold researchers, and the gifted students of our celebrated university to create something that’s larger and more powerful than all of us.

It’s a remarkable time to be part of the University of Illinois at Springfield. Our achievements and incredible progress have been possible because of the generosity of alumni, faculty, parents and friends of our university. We are grateful for your support and for what you have helped our university and our students become. That’s what happens when you give someone a chance—you create something bigger than yourself, which keeps on growing.

And now we look to you in our boldest, biggest effort yet. The Brilliant Futures Campaign will not only help us sustain this momentum, but fulfill our vision: becoming one of the top five small public liberal arts universities in the nation.
